Hours    Typically 8:00 - 5:00 Monday thru Friday
Occasional Saturday Work

Ensure the stable operations of bank information systems, which includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining and supporting software and hardware related to financial operations.

Essential Duties 
Ensure the integrity of host computers.  Manage server storage space allotments.  Analyze system or application usage and plan for growth in network capacity, as required.  Recommend, schedule and perform software improvements and/or upgrades.  Assess the need for system reconfiguration and execute those, as required.  Assist in the design and implementation of disaster recovery plans for operating systems, databases, networks, servers, and software applications.  Perform daily monitoring of system for undefined or incorrectly defined reports, making corrections.  Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of policies/procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.  Assist in preparing updates to the bank's test environment and determine effect updates may have on production environment.  Act as a Tier 2 resources for IT Service Desk in the resolution of end user software programs and connectivity issues in a responsive and accurate manner.  Work with vendors on warranty calls for troubleshooting and/or part replacement.

Performs all job functions in compliance with the requirements of banking laws and regulations.  Other duties as required by supervisory personnel. 
 
The Right Person
1 – 3 years’ successful experience in information security, data processing, or similar work environment.
Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
Exceptional Knowledge/Use of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to work independently within time constraints.
Adaptability to use of specialty software and programs.
AA Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or similar field.
